MCPF raises funds to support breakthrough research at world-class laboratories that focus on turning new discoveries into treatments for people.
MCPF was founded by the friends of Peter Morton who was tragically injured in a bicycle accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down and dependent on a ventilator to breathe.
MCPF hosts a golf tournament and fundraiser in Minneapolis in September and recently expanded to a second tournament in Phoenix in February. In its 18 years, MCPF has raised over $3.1 million and has received recognition for its strong base of volunteers who keep expenses below 15%.
Advances in spinal cord injury research benefit stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, post-polio syndrome, transverse myelitis, traumatic brain injury, and many other central nervous system conditions and traumas.
You or someone you love could benefit from this critical research.
