It’s a simple notion: people who are sick should not be without food. Yet every day, people in our community with life-threatening illnesses find themselves unable to shop or cook—and, often, without the support network to help.
That’s where we come in. Open Arms of Minnesota grows, cooks and delivers free, freshly prepared meals tailored to meet the nutrition needs of those living with life-threatening illnesses. Our meals are designed by our registered dietitians and team of chefs to respond to the specific dietary needs of our clients. We believe that food is medicine, and that our work matters to the health outcomes of our clients. This year, with the support of 7,300 volunteers we will deliver more than 600,000 nourishing meals to neighbors living with life-threatening illnesses, as well as their caregivers and children.
With open arms, we nourish body, mind and soul.
