CRAVE Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden are at it again!
Cincinnati’s favorite dynamic-duo teamed up for the Zoo’s Wild About Wine event. If you missed this one, have no fear! Wild About Wine is part of a series whose next “un-corking” takes place on Thursday, September 3rd!
Wild About Wine guests enjoy everything from a unique wine sampling, to live music and up-close animal encounters. Food-by-the-bite was provided from local restaurants including CRAVE, who had a blast serving up wild fare like Spicy Shrimp Gazpacho! Each tasting took place in different locations throughout the Zoo.
Wild About Wine is part of the Cincinnati Zoo’s Toast to the Wild event series comprised of five sampling events: Zootini, Wild About Wine (three dates) and Zoo Brew. According to the Zoo, over 4,000 attendees in 2014 raised over $150,000 to benefit The Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW), one of three zoo facilities in the U.S. dedicated to conservation and research. CREW is internationally recognized for their research involving rhinos, small cats, endangered plants, and most recently, polar bears. $30 of every ticket goes directly to support CREW’s research.
